Identification
Sleek, elongated body. Two medium sized, almost equal well separated dorsal fins, very small teeth. Uniform blackish gray on dorsal surface and above, gray to white below.

Size
5-9 lbs., but can reach lengths of 40 in. and 40 lbs.

Packaging
Loose, random in wetlocks. Fresh 4/6; frozen whole.

Frozen: dressed; head-off (J-cut/collar removed), size graded 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 4/5, 5/7 & 7/up.
